Ranked as No 1. in the Travel + Leisure 2013 World’s Best Awards list of Top 100 Hotels! Our new website is alive and kicking. After a year of work, we believe it is the best ecotourism site out there. In 2013 the Trust funded 35 projects in Africa including the Liwonde Rhino Project.

The successes of Children in the Wilderness
Children in the Wilderness (CITW) had a bumper year in 2013 with the rolling out of Eco-Clubs across all regions. December is CITW’s busiest month, with many camp programmes being run throughout the regions. Since its beginning in 2001 some 4 500 children have been hosted at our Wilderness Safaris camps.

Adventure Travel Trade World Summit (ATWS) Wilderness Safaris Integrated Report A Star is Born!
We are extremely proud of the exceptional organisation and hosting of ATWS in Namibia. We’re thilled that our 2013 Integrated Report received four prestigious accolades. Aptly named for the upcoming festive season, Naledi, meaning star, is the newest member of the Abu herd.
